Medium Rare recently completed a brand launch for TalentMBA, a boutique talent matching service that brings together the unlimited potential of small businesses and motivated MBA students. The business finds MBA internship candidates and matches them with fast-growing clients, primarily startups and entrepreneurs who have the need but not the time to find and integrate top talent.
TalentMBA uniquely employs time-tested recruitment methodologies to source, vet and present a shortlist of bespoke candidates to clients. The client is provided with six candidates who match their needs, interviews three candidates, and hires one. TalentMBA’s founder, Pedro Gonzalez, has decades of experience in brokering business development with top corporations and delivering best-in-class career service to students, making him uniquely qualified to help companies and students achieve symbiotic goals.
Medium Rare helped Mr. Gonzalez coalesce ideas about the business and build a marketing program that embraces all three parties in the placement process — students, startups, and business schools. We generated high-level messaging, identity, digital, social, and promotional elements for the launch in early 2022.
The TalentMBA logo features a circular icon comprised of six triangles, which represent the six candidates presented to the client. The light green and yellow elements represent the three candidates interviewed, with the yellow triangle being the candidate hired. A correlative icon set employs the bright, aspirational color scheme to augment high-level benefits and features.
The backbone of the new business is the TalentMBA website, which serves as a lead generator, service evangelist, and magnet for potential clients/users. With bright colors and bold headlines, the site generates interest and forms feed the pipeline of students looking for exciting opportunities. Within a month of launch, the site began generating prospects and clients, proving the business model and driving it toward sustained success.
Augmenting the website are collateral materials and promotional goods that tout the brand and its benefits.
